Hello There Everyone!
Having P-Day on Saturday is so different! I hope
that you can get use to it because its going to be like this for a LONG
time! haha
Well, Like I said on Monday,
I am now in the office as the new Migration Secretary. I'm learning things that I didn't even know existed! President told me the
specific reasons why I'm the Migration Secretary. He said it's because I'm
organized, loving, patient, and my Spanish is better than most of the Americans!! ( the patience part I doubt;) haha
My Companion is
Elder Kepo´o. He is from Hawaii!! He is sick, I have known him for a
while because I was in Zone Escazu for 6 months with them when I was in
Santa Ana. He will be training me for the next 8 weeks. I am going to
learn and mess up a lot, but I am also going to learn. I love being in
the office, I don't know why. I think it is because there is Air
Conditioning here!! haha No but I get to talk to all of the missionaries
and President, and hang out with the assistants.
Let me tell you about my first couple of days!
Monday- First day of training and interview with President Laboriel.
Tuesday-
Second day of training and we had to pick up an Elder that was getting
sent home. We slept in the Assistants house and woke up at 4 in the
morning!
Wednesday-
We took the Elder To the Airport! It was weird!!!!!!!!!! Watching the
Elder wave goodbye to us was a bit sad. We went to San Jose and slept in
the house of the other Secretaries.
Thursday- We woke up at 2 am
and took all of the Elders and Sisters that finished their missions to
the Airport! Sister Gibson was included in that group. I watched them
all wave goodbye and excited to see their families.
Friday-
We waited in 2 banks to deposit some money and went to the lawyers
office and gave them all of the receipts and cancellation forms and
stuff. Then we worked in our area.
And now today is my P-Day.
One of the recent converts named Nixo (who I visited one time with
Elder Kepo´o on divisions when I was in Santa Ana) took us up on top of
the mountain of Escazu! We at lunch and took a nap on top! But we walked
ALOT!!!!!
It is very interesting here, but I love it!
