WOW! This week was crazy, awesome, frustrating, and sad all in the same time! Well, the good news is we had our baptisms this week! The bad news is, is that we didn't have ALL of our baptisms because Satan is a loser! :) Diego's real mom got all mad and influenced him to not get baptized even though she is a member herself. However she is inactive right now. So Diego did not get baptized! However, I baptized Valeria and Elder Serrano baptized Cinthya! IT was AWESOME!! We also had Cinthya and Roy's wedding! Elder Serrano and I were the Witnesses! It was sick!

So I keep hearing about a video of me playing and singing! What is that?? I don't even know what that is! ha, ha But as long as it sounds good! 

 OH!! I got your packages today!!! They finally came! ACtually, as they were looking for the package from the fame, they found one from KaDi as well! it was funny! I was so excited that I ripped open the box to see what was inside! Thank you so much for the presents!! I love them!! As well as last year, Christmas is really different. It makes me feel a little weird because the culture is so different. Its weird to think that in 4 weeks, I will be talking to you through skype. And then, I will have less that 10 months. That's CRAZY! its gone by so fast! I am going to sell my crappy ukelele, I can sell it for like 25-35 dollars. I bought a new one that wont break. All of the members are asking me to come and do a family home evening at their houses so that I can sing to them with my ukelele! Its funny! Christmas is just around the corner!! Then news years again! At least they do a whole bunch of fireworks here! Just think! The next Thanksgiving and Christmas, will be with you guys!! :D Awesome right? however its also really sad!

Well, This week was amazing and crazy!! I worked on Tuesday and Wednesday in my area. Then on Thursday, I went with Elder Navas to Ojo de Agua! It was hot there. Not like Guacimo, but pretty hot. Elder Navas and I just started contacting and went to all of the investigators and Sang our hearts out with my ukelele. Unfortunately, the last song we did, my ukelele broke! however I can fix it:) I was there until today! I even went to church on sunday in a different area! I LOVED IT! I was there for the first time in a year with Sister Gibson! I think you all remember her. Her and I had alot of fun! We found like 22 news and all were from people that stared at my ukelele, and we just started to sing! We sang the song I wrote and other church songs as well. The spirit filled the houses as we sang!

I feel like I needed a little break from my area and from my comp for a couple of days. Im about really to burst with all thats going on. Sister Gibson and the zone leaders have had to cut my comp's head a couple of times. But he is fine and is learning. Pray for me!! haha

  Well this Saturday will be the wedding of Roy and Cinthya! And the baptisms  of Cinthya, Valeria, and diego will be on sunday at 8:00am! I am so excited! they are our first baptisms in Santo Domingo!! Now I am just a little worried about December.

  I dont think that we will be doing anything for Thanksgiving. They don't really celebrate that here. They do Christmas, but its a whole different story without SNOW!!;) and wow, I can't believe that its been almost a year since the first time I skyped! we will be sure to get everything set up again. It will be my 3rd out of 4 times Skyping! CRAZY! I hope you all have a great week! I love you all and im grateful for all of you!!

Buenas Tardes a todos!! Espero que todo esta bien en la casa! Este semana fue muy interesante!!

Hello everyone! This week was so cool! As you know, about 3-4 weeks ago, We had a branch missionary activity. President Laboriel came and gave a talk, and we had 89 people in church! Remember that?? WELL, President decided to send 2 ELDERS to Santo Domingo! Today was changes! Now Elder Garcia from guatemala and Elder Carrion from honduras are going to be living in our house as Santo Domingo 2! Elder Serrano and I are Santo Domingo 1! So we are going to work like crazy in this area!

This week was our week of sacrifice!! It was crazy just like the last time! Only this time, I did something different!! I walked by a very small music store on monday and I found a good Ukelele for cheap here, so I bought it and started learning Hyms on it for this week of sacrifice! So Elder Navas (Zone Leader) and I stood in front of everyone in the central Park of Heredia and Sang our hearts out. And while we were singing, President Laboriel showed up and come over and started listening and took videos of us singing to show at the leadership meetings! It was cool!

Along with the Ukelele, I actually wrote a song this week! Its about the Book of mormon and the promise that has. The cool thing is...IT'S IN SPANISH! ha,ha it rhyms and everything! Its called ¨Pruebe la Promesa``

So on Friday, We had the opportunity to take ALL of our investigators to the costa rica temple again!!! It was so amazing! The best thing is that Roy, Cinthia, and Valeria came with us!!! This family is seriously amazing! Roy, is obsessed with 80s music!! I love the guy! So we had a huge lesson with all fo the investigators in the Zone and then we walked around the temple with them all. Elder Navas and I sang the song that I wrote to a group of people and then after, Roy and Cinthia came up to us and said ¨We want you to sing that song at our wedding¨!!!!!! So we will be singing the song I wrote at their wedding and baptism on the 28th of november!! I will send you a video of the song!

Our Branch President took us in his office and told us the new rule about children with gay parents cannot be baptized. Its amazing what Heavenly Father is planning. I want to give my testimony RIGHT HERE in this email, That I KNOW and TESTIFY that THOMAS S. MONSON is a Prophet of God. He reveals his promises and protection to us. We have to have the faith that the things that he says are true. And if you dont believe it, Ask Father Yourselves!!!!! I promise that he will make the truth known. We are the only church with a living modern prophet that recieves direct revalation! I know that Jesus Christ Lives! I love you all and hope that you have a great week!!

Wow!! I cant believe that a year has already gone by! It flew so fast! I don't want to get old! ha,ha This week was very interesting! I will start off with an experience that I had. This week we didn''t find a lot of new investigators. So i was pretty stressed out about that...and so what I did was stop at the head of a street that I had never contacted before, and said a prayer right there in the middle of the road. After the prayer, I felt a huge impression to knock on the 3rd door on the right. I knocked the door and I just grabbed their attention like crazy and they loved us from the first second. They let us in Perfectly! The mom(Cinthia), the daughter(Valeria), and the son(Diego) we the only ones home. The dad(Roy) was working at this time. So we taught them a little bit about the church and i asked them if they like music. They all so yes, so I sang to them! I sang ´´Abide with me 'tis even tide´´ They loved it and the spirit filled the room. We invited them to church and they accepted. They told us to pick them up on Sunday. So Sunday morning we got their in car actually, and i knocked the door again, and ALL of them were ready to go except the son who had a soccer game to go to. So we took the dad, mom and daughter to church and they loved it!! They are planning on getting married really soon. I found out that the dad is actually an inactive member from about 12 years ago with his ex-wife. But they the mom, daughter, and son are all planning on getting baptized!!

This week will be the week of sacrifice again!! we are planning on taking Roy and the Family to the temple on Friday! 

We had a meeting with the branch president on Saturday night and he helped us open our eyes more about how to help the members and get more baptisms. His name is Walter Venegas, he served his mission in Guatemala and he baptized who knows how many. He is very persuasive and knows how to talk to the members and people. He loved to help us out and joke around with us. 

I hope you are all going to the temple as much as possible! I go every week!!...From the outside. ha,ha But I'm just grateful that I even get to SEE the temple! Just looking at it I can feel the power and spirit that it has and brings. I love you all! have a great week! if you need anything just let me know!

HELLO!!! Well, In case you were worrying, I have been with President all day! We had the monthly check for our "sons"! We got to eat at presidents house and hang out with the missionaries! We stayed at the mission home for a while then we went to the office to pick up my package!! Ya i got it!! Thank you!! In the Central Park, I ran into Elder Rosander! hes actually from the other mission! But I found him! Elder Davis is his Zone Leader! Elder Dunyon and I are training. Its going great here in Santo Domingo! We don't have a lot of investigators but we are starting to get references from the members! Something cool that happened this week, was that I guess at the Leadership Conference with all the Zone Leaders and Assistants, they showed videos and pictures of the big missionary activity that my branch had!! My Zone leaders and the assistance told me that President was just raving about it! So it was cool! Today all of the trainers and our "kids" got on a bus to San Jose, and I got up and Starting to sing! Then all of the other missionaries started to sing too!!! The spirit filled the bus and everyone just sat there and listened. Elder Valtierra took a video that I will have him send to you! Thank you for everything that you do!! I love you all!! If anybody has any advice throw it my way! A chapter that I Love a lot is ALMA 26!!

Hello!! Wow this week was so stressful!! I am going to start off by saying, I know, and testify that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ Test us! I am not kidding. Lets just say this week, They are trying to teach me Patience!!! LIKE CRAZY! Everything here in Santo Domingo is going great. We have found investigators that are progressing and that have baptism dates. This week, I felt a bit off. I don't know how to explain it. I then read the emails that I had and found out why. When you have an off week, I too can feel it. However, this week was also amazing.

This whole week we called the ward counsel together and we made a huge plan to have a missionary activity. I Invited President Laboriel to come to church and give a talk in the sacrament meeting. He accepted of course and gave an inspired talk as well as his Wife. President Laboriel's voice carries very loudly. You can feel the power when he talks. I love the guy:) He and his wife walked into the church, and they told me instantly that they could feel the spirit. Mostly because we cleaned up the church and organized EVERY classroom and Sister Laboriel I guess was very impressed. 

Lately I have been working on trying to listen to the spirit and trying to figure out how. Finding the spirit in my experience is easy but also difficult. You have to be willing to listen to the spirit and willing to follow his counsel. Worthiness invites the spirit into your life. I have a very firm testimony of Prayer. I will be honest with you. I have only received a direct answer to my prayer 1 or 2 times. Heavenly Father isnt just going to give us the things we want when we want them. We have to be willing to be patient and wait for HIS time and do HIS will and not ours. We are nothing without him. If you dont receive and answer quickly, KEEP ASKING! We are here to be tested. Christ came to this Earth to Give, not receive. He came to give life, and forgive, not condemn. Heavenly Father has given us the right to choose. We are blessed to be able to use it. I don't always receive answers to my prayers right away. I have prayers being answered now that I asked for when I went into the MTC. That's how heavenly father works. I am learning tons! I love you all and i hope you know that whenever you have a bad day, Prayer can take the bad things away. 

Mom and dad, I did get 1 package. Thank you so much for the things that you sent me. It means a lot!! I love you both!
